Hindsight Pet Services (HPS) was created in fall 2010 by Delaine Withers. Realizing she was happiest when surrounded by animals, she finally worked up enough courage to dive in headfirst and start
a service-based business, caring for pets while their owners are
away from home. Yay!
Delaine is well versed in animal care: she has watched over pets of friends and family since her elementary school days (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth). She is trained in pet first aid & CPR, and experienced in the care of ill, injured, and elderly pets. She's volunteered her time as dog walker and foster home for dogs, cats, orphaned kittens, bunnies and guinea pigs for local animal rescue groups for five years. For the past sixteen years Delaine has been the proud owner of fish, mice, gerbils, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, bunnies, and yes, cats and dogs. Her current family consists of

two dogs, five cats, and eight (count 'em, eight!) bunnies. Don't worry, everyone's spayed and neutered!
Delaine currently supports the World Wildlife Federation, the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, and a foster child, Jude, in Haiti. Her dogs were adopted from Prairie Animal Rescue of High Prairie, and from Klassic Kennels rescue outside of Red Deer. Her cats were adopted from the Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection (NASAP) and her bunnies adopted from the Edmonton Humane Society.
Delaine is a regular at the Buena Vista/Laurier, Hermitage, and Goldbar dog parks, running around all hours of the day with Blake & Clifford (and Tilly, Sadie, Noir, Blitz, Sigma, Jack, Winston, Butters, Charlie, Copain, Sabrina, Teppei, Maggie, Dee, Kaiser, Zoe, Penny, Fleur, Faust, Mercedes, Bacardi, Peyto, Roxie, Bruno, Dolly, Duke, and anyone else they run into!). She continues to update
